Hi, howdy! I'm Katie, owner of Goose & Gown.
You know when you're little and your mom tells you that you can be anything you want to be? Like most people, I grew up and I stopped believing (mostly due to fear of rejection). Until one day I had this random thought: What if I only have 30 more summers left? What if I never become who I dream of being just because I'm scared of people laughing at me? What if I have to look back on my life and realize I didn't make myself proud?
A lot of weird turns later (+ what felt - ehem, *feels* - like jumping off a cliff) I'm here. Doing the dang thing. And it's as dreamy and as much fun as I always thought it would be. Getting creative, chatting with newfound friends, helping others feel comfortable in their skin - it's all I've ever wanted. I'm honored to be here.
